When you use AI Improv, we collect and process the following data:

1. Account Information

Email Address: Used for authentication and account management
Display Name: Shown to other players in your sessions
Profile Photo (optional): If provided via your authentication provider

2. Session Data

Audio Transcripts: We record and transcribe all improv sessions for playback and improvement
Performance Data: Session duration, participation metrics, and interaction patterns
Stage Information: Games you host or join, including timestamps and participants

3. Technical Information

IP Address: For security, consent verification, and abuse prevention
Browser Information: User agent string for compatibility and security
Device Type: To optimize your experience across different platforms

How We Use Your Data

We process your data for the following purposes:

Service Delivery: To enable real-time improv sessions with AI and other players
Transcript Storage: To allow you to review and share past performances
Analytics: To understand usage patterns and improve the service (anonymized)
Safety: To prevent abuse, enforce terms of service, and maintain platform integrity
Legal Compliance: To meet our obligations under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws

Data Sharing

We share your data only in these specific circumstances:

With Session Participants: Your email and display name are visible to game hosts and players
Anonymized Transcripts: May be shared with other players with names replaced as "Player"
Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud), AI services (Anthropic, OpenAI) for core functionality
Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety

Data Retention

Active Accounts: Data retained while your account remains active
Session Transcripts: Kept for 90 days for your review, then anonymized
Consent Records: Maintained for 7 years for regulatory compliance
Deleted Accounts: Personal data removed within 30 days of deletion request

Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON)
Transfer your data to another service provider
Includes transcripts, profile data, and session history

As easy to withdraw as to give consent
Note: Withdrawal will disable your account and prevent service access

How to Exercise Your Rights

Contact: Please utilize the Contact Support feature on the landing page or the Support link in the page footer

Response Time: We will respond to your request within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA)

Verification: We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing requests

Supervisory Authority
